Courses we offer

7.5 Tonne, Category C1 Training

This course is available to anyone with a full UK two part driving licence. Minimum requirements for the 7.5 tonne test are a medical, category C1 as a provisional entitlement, a passed theory test certificate and a full UK two part driving licence. You will be required to take a 7.5 tonne test if you wish to drive a vehicle over 3.5 tonnes but no more than 7.5 tonnes.

18 Tonne, Rigid, Category C Training

This training course and test is available to anyone from the age of 18 years. The minimum requirements to take the Rigid test is a medical, category C as a provisional entitlement, passed theory test certificate and a full UK two part driving licence. The 18 tonne test is required if you wish to drive a vehicle over 7.5 tonnes.

Articulated test, Category C+E Training

When you have passed your category C (rigid) test, you are only entitled to tow a trailer up to 750kgs. So to enable you to tow a larger trailer you are required to take the articulated / C+E test to tow more than 750kgs. Minimum requirements are a full UK two part driving licence with category C as a full licence.

Intensive Driving Course

Also known as a crash driving course or a block booking. It''s a great way to learn how to drive in a minimum amount of time (for example, over the course of a week). As a course there will be a practical test at the end of your training. Minimum requirements for an intensive driving course is a UK two part provisional licence, a passed driving theory test certificate, have completed a driving assessment with one of our qualified instructors.

Car Tuition and testing

We offer a full range of car tuition for new drivers with littler to no driving experience and also courses available for drivers with many years experience driving on the road.

Pass Plus

This course is designed for new drivers who have passed their practical driving test within 12 months and would like to gain more driving experience. Pass plus can also help reduce the high insurance costs new and young drivers have.

Car and Trailer Tuition (B+E test)

It is compulsory to take the car and trailer test if you wish to tow a trailer over 750kgs (if you obtained yoru driving licene after 1 january 1997). Minimum requirements for the car and trailer course are a full UK two part driving licence. No towing experience is required. This is also available as just a training course for anyone who already has the B+E category on their licence but would like to have some tuition before they tow a trailer on the road or for anyone who would like to just refresh their memory on towing with a car and trailer.

CBT - Compulsory Basic Training

The CBT can be taken from the age of 16 years on a 50cc moped / scooter or from the age of 17 years up to a 125cc scooter / motorcycle, manual or automatic. The minimum requirements you need for the CBT is a UK two part provisional licence, category P or A as a provisional entitlement. No riding experience is needed. The CBT is basic training, it is not a test however a certain standard of riding will be required before the certificate is issued.

STT - Standard Test Training (A1 / A2)

The STT can be taken from the age of 17 years on either a 50cc moped to a 125cc motorbike, manual or automatic. The minimum requirements to take the A1 or A2 test is a UK two part provisional licence, a passed motorbike test, a completed in-date CBT (DL196) certificate. The standard motorcycle test does involve a two part DSA (Driving Standards Agency) test. When you pass the STT you are restricted for two years to ride any bike with a brake horse power (Bhp) of 33bhp / 25kW.

DAS - Direct Access Test (A)

The DAS (Direct Access) can be taken by anyone aged 21 years and above. The training and test is taken on a minimum of a 500cc motorcycle, manual or automatic. The minimum requirement to take the direct access test is a UK two part provisional licence, a passed motorcycle theory test certificate, a completed in-date CBT (DL196) certificate. The direct access does involve a two part DSA (Driving Standards Agency) practical test which needs to be passed before you are able to ride on the road legally on any size bike.

Back to Biking, Refresher

If you already have your motorbike licence but have not ridden a motorcycle in a while or you may have had a motorcycle accident, you may feel a bit nervous about going back onto two wheels. If this sounds like yourself then you may be intersted in taking a return to biking course, also known as a back to biking or refresher course. This course is made to suit your needs, already being a motorcycle rider you would already know the basics about riding and may just want to go out for a ride around with an instructor who can give you points where needed to help you gain confidence on the road.

Pillion Passenger Training

This training course is suitable for anyone with a full UK motorcycle licence, who would like to gain experience carrying a pillion passenger on the back of a motorcycle. The minimum requirements for this course is you will need a full UK two part motorcycle licence. This is just a training course and there is no test involved.
